Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to Momentum Body Clinic. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking an appointment or using our services. By booking an appointment with Andrea De Franceschi trading as Momentum Body Clinic ("I", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these terms.

I am a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC No. 12024) and provide professional osteopathy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, and exercise rehabilitation services.

Initial Assessment: Every new patient booking an osteopathic session must undergo an initial clinical assessment before receiving manual treatment.
Cancellation Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours' notice.
Fees: Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) and non-attendance without notice (No-shows) are charged in full (100% of the scheduled session fee).
Payment: Must be paid in full securely upfront online at the time of booking.

1. Clinical Assessment & Treatment Consent

Assessment Requirement: Every new patient booking an osteopathic session must undergo an initial consultation and clinical assessment before any hands-on treatment can take place.
Consent to Treatment: Osteopathy is a hands-on physical therapy. Treatment may involve massage, stretching, joint mobilization (articulation), and high-velocity joint manipulation. You have the absolute right to ask questions and withdraw consent to any specific technique at any time.
Minors (Under 18): Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during all sessions.
Right to Decline: I reserve the right to refuse or stop treatment if I believe it is clinically contraindicated or unsafe.

2. Bookings & Payments

Booking System: Online bookings are managed securely via Cliniko.
Pricing: All current treatment fees are displayed on the Prices page of our website (momentumbodyclinic.co.uk/prices).
Payment Terms: To secure your slot and protect against late cancellations, all appointments must be paid in full upfront at the time of booking via Stripe (Debit/Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).

3. Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy

24-Hour Notice: You must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to the full scheduled session fee (100% charge).
No-Show Fee: Failing to attend without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled session fee.
Late Arrivals: Late arrivals will finish at the scheduled time so subsequent patients are not delayed. The full session fee remains payable.

4. Medical Disclaimer & Patient Responsibility

Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide a complete and accurate medical history on your online intake form and notify me of any changes to your health between sessions.
GP Cooperation: If a systemic or non-musculoskeletal issue is suspected, I will advise you to consult your GP.

5. Liability & Insurance

Professional Insurance: I maintain full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance covering all services offered.
Limitations: I am not liable for any pre-existing medical conditions that were not fully and accurately disclosed during your assessment.

6. Complaints & Feedback

If you have any concerns or complaints about your treatment, please email contact@momentumbodyclinic.co.uk. If a clinical dispute cannot be resolved, you have the right to contact the statutory regulator (General Osteopathic Council).
